I got my promise ring from Ty yesterday It is a streling silver band that matches his exactly

Going with McKeah tonight to help her out at Mrs.DeLeons house to baby sit her four kids, all under the age of 5.

Ron (my boss ta work) gave me from december 30th- the end of Jan off so that I dont have to worry about work while getting used to school and such. That was nice of him. It will make me feel cramped on bills though but it will be fine. Trust in God.

Mission trip is the 27th-31st I cant wait!

Our church hired the new youth director. He is from Ohio and his name is Ryan. He holds to guiness book of world records for running stairs and a record in the boston marathon. He is a biog tri-athilete guy. Cathy said he reminds her of Wermy. We havnt met him yet I am pretty excited. he is 29 and single.

lol your description of the new youth pastor made me think of that movie "the 30 year old virgin"
I don't think are church would ever hire a single guy but I suppose it works out..

Sounds like he'll be a lot of fun though

because we would need him to counsel and he wouldn't be able to counsel women or young girls because it would be too much of a temptation. Satan knows the weak spots. If they have a wife then there not as sexually driven and can have there wife come in if need be.

our church has had a bad experience with single guys.

yeah I can see it not being a big deal and then can see it being for others...
but Calvary tells all their pastoral students that they need to get married before going into ministry and have several examples of even married men who didn't include their wives in counseling with women or didn't have an office with windows (or an open door) and ended up commiting sins. Maybe they aren't even really weak in that area but it just seems that Satan knows that would really end their ministry and so he attacks them there...
